Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club is a welcoming club with a very good range of facilities. A full catering service and a superb dining room allows visitors to enjoy a hearty meal after, hopefully, an enjoyable round of golf. The course is maintained in excellent condition and is a very good test of golf where good shots are rewarded. The greens are of a very high standard and putt well in all weathers due to the excellent work carried out by our dedicated greenstaff.
Visitors are welcome on most days although on days where competitions are being played there will be limited times available. Alternatively, if you have a verified handicap, you might like to consider entering one of our open competitions. Tee-off times are available daily from 9.30 am to 11.30 am for morning rounds and from 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm for the afternoon (Book Online Now).
Our well stocked professional shop run by Mr Joe Fergusson (Telephone 01387 256902) is one of the best in Scotland and his staff are always willing to help members and visitors alike.
There are practice facilities available where players can warm-up before a round. Stroke savers can be purchased from the professional’s shop. In addition there are yardage markers on the course which give the yardage to the middle of the greens at par fours and fives. They are colour coded with red for 100yards, yellow for 150yards and blue for 200yards.

We now offer visitors and members the opportunity to hire one of our four new golf carts. It is expected that these will be a popular addition to our facilities and we would urge visitors to contact our club professional, Joe Fergusson and book a cart at the time of booking your visitor dates.

As part of our ability to guarantee your place on the course we require a £5.00 deposit per golfer. Full details of this is explained when you book online. Note: Payment can only be accepted by cheque (or credit card if telephoning the club).
