The club holds many cabaret and dance nights through-out the year and I would welcome you all to come along and support the club and our new caterers, Paula & Donna, in the coming season.” |

The Summerhill Course, Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club’s championship eighteen hole, par 70, layout has magnificent views over the hills to the north of Dumfries.
All the fairways are generous, the rough is graded and cut to avoid prolonged ball searching, and a round can be enjoyed by all categories of golfer. |

| Each year the course hosts national championships for both men (Sutherland Chalice, July 12-13, 2008) and women (Mary McCallay Trophy, Sunday, August 10, 2008). Golfers from across Scotland swung into action for last years Kerr Investments Dumfries Classic Pro Am, where we attracted the best professionals in Scotland and is regarded as one of the best competitions on the Tartan Tour. This years 2 day Pro-Am competition (Saturday 6 September and Sunday 7 September) follows the professional qualifying day with Order of Merit points and substantial prize money available for the professionals and prizes for the best amateurs. | |

The Captain, Mr Brian Alison, and the club members welcome casual and society visitors. Visiting parties can use our unique on-line booking system to book that special golf day out, with the clubhouse offering first-class hospitality in bar, restaurant and locker room.
Attached to the club, the professionals shop (Telephone 01387 256902) carries a large selection of golf clubs and equipment and provides expert advice and tuition services. |
